## 1. Mine Engineer
As a Mine Engineer, you will be instrumental in bridging the gap between strategic mine planning and operational execution. Your work will directly influence the company’s economic success, production reliability, and the implementation of Good Mining Practices.
Key Accountabilities
* Strategic Planning: Execute life-of-mine plans, including pit optimization, production scheduling, and ore blending strategies to maximize internal rate of return (IRR) and net present value (NPV).
* Engineering Design: Develop comprehensive hill and pit designs using geological data—such as block models and grade distribution—while considering drainage and disposal capacity.
* Budgeting & Forecasting: Coordinate the preparation of mine budgets, monitor operational expenditures (OPEX) and capital expenditures (CAPEX), and provide quarterly production forecasts.
* Project Oversight: Monitor the implementation of mine sequences to ensure project goals are met with precision.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering.
* Minimum of 4 years of experience in a relevant mining role.
Current certification as a Pengawas Operational Pratama* (POP).
* Proficiency in industry-standard software, including Vulcan, Surpac, Deswik, Whittle, MineMax, and Arcview.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills suitable for professional presentations.
## 2. Junior Geologist
The Junior Geologist role is essential for maintaining the integrity of our mineral resources. You will be on the front lines of our mining activities, ensuring that the quality and quantity of our nickel ore meet strict internal and global standards.
Key Accountabilities
* Quality Assurance: Supervise mining production from extraction to shipping, ensuring high-quality material is prioritized and contamination is mitigated.
* Sampling Integrity: Conduct systematic audits of sampling stations and laboratories to ensure representative data, providing actionable insights for management.
* Operational Direction: Provide clear technical guidance to heavy equipment operators regarding material selection and extraction protocols.
* Contractor Management: Review and improve contractor performance and sampling procedures, identifying gaps to enhance productivity and safety.
* Data Accuracy: Validate geological and production data to support informed decision-making and accurate reporting.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Geological Engineering.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant field.
Certification as a Pengawas Operational Pratama* (POP) is highly preferred.
* Strong computer literacy, specifically in Microsoft Office Suite.
