We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled professional to join our team as a Junior Operator. This position is ideal for individuals eager to contribute to the safe, reliable, and efficient operations of a world-class power generation facility.
Key Responsibilities
The Junior Operator plays a vital role in our daily operations, working under the guidance of the Shift Leader and Unit Controller. Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Operating gas turbine combined cycle power (CCP) systems and auxiliary equipment in strict compliance with safety guidelines.
* Monitoring plant performance to ensure optimal efficiency.
* Assisting in technical troubleshooting and maintenance coordination.
* Maintaining accurate logs and adhering to rotating shift schedules to ensure 24/7 power plant reliability.
Qualifications and Prerequisites
To be considered for this professional opportunity, candidates must meet the following criteria:
* Educational Background: Possession of a Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Electrical, Instrumentation & Control, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering.
* Professional Experience: A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a related industrial environment.
* Technical Proficiency: Ability to interpret logic diagrams, Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID), and basic electrical/mechanical schematics.
* Knowledge Base: Familiarity with CCP operations, water chemistry principles, and standard power plant terminology is highly preferred.
* Soft Skills: Strong analytical capabilities, high attention to detail, and the ability to demonstrate critical thinking under pressure.
* Communication: Proficiency in English, both verbal and written, is mandatory for reporting and documentation.
